Where is Headlines The Salon located and what are your hours?
Headlines The Salon is located at 121 North El Camino Real, Suite C, Encinitas, CA 92024. We're open Tuesday–Friday from 8:00 AM, Monday from 12:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. We're closed on Sundays.
What services does Headlines The Salon offer?
We offer a full range of hair services including cuts and styling, traditional coloring, blonding and highlighting, extensions, and specialty treatments like the Cezanne Smoothing Treatment and permanent waves. Consultations are available for custom color and extension services.
What types of hair extensions do you offer?
We offer three extension methods: Tape-In, Hand-Tied, Tape-Row, K-Tips and Clip Ins. Each includes an initial look installation and a maintenance service. Pricing varies by method, so we recommend a consultation to find the best fit for your hair.
Do you specialize in curly hair?
Yes — we offer both a Curly Maintenance Cut and an Expert Curly Cut, designed specifically for curly hair needs. These are distinct services priced accordingly, and a consultation can help determine which is right for your curl type.
What is the Cezanne Smoothing Treatment?
The Cezanne Smoothing Treatment is a specialty service offered at Headlines The Salon, priced at $350. It's a professional smoothing treatment designed to reduce frizz and improve manageability. Contact us for details on whether it's right for your hair type.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or modify an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, may result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled services. A credit card on file is required to book.
What happens if I'm late to my appointment?
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your services will be honored at Headlines The Salon's discretion. We may need to modify or cancel services to stay on schedule for other guests.
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee or service adjustments?
Yes — if you're not satisfied after your appointment, we invite you to return within 2 weeks for a complimentary adjustment. Please note that adjustments are at our discretion, and we do not offer refunds for services rendered.
How do I find the right stylist for me?
We offer a stylist match quiz that pairs you with the expert best suited to your hair needs, personality, and style. Once matched, you can book directly with your top stylist. It's our way of making sure your first visit — and every visit — feels personal.
How is pricing determined for color services?
Pricing varies by stylist level and is tailored to your hair using Vish color scale technology, which ensures accuracy based on your hair's specific needs. For a precise quote, we recommend booking a consultation with your stylist.
What professional product brands do you carry?
We carry Oribe, Innersense, and K18, among others. If you're not satisfied with a product purchased at Headlines The Salon, we'll apply the full value toward another product within 14 days of purchase.
What is your product return policy?
Products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for full value applied toward another product. Please note that hair brushes, candles, accessories, and jewelry are final sale — no returns or exchanges.
